High-Purity Single Element Supplementation

Part of the completely revised ATI® ICP Elements lineup, this high-purity lithium solution is designed for the precise adjustment of element levels in reef aquariums. Developed and tested in the ATI® Lab in Germany, these solutions are ideal for both compensating acute deficiencies and maintaining daily element supply to ensure a balanced and biologically functional reef environment.

The Role of Lithium (Li) in Reef Systems

While specific deficiency symptoms are not yet fully documented, lithium is a significant trace element due to its chemical properties in seawater.

  • Ionic Presence: Lithium is an extremely light element. Despite its low overall concentration, there is a very high number of lithium ions present in natural seawater, suggesting a foundational biological role.

  • Potential Benefits: It is theorized that lithium may influence enzyme activity and overall cellular metabolic processes within reef organisms.

  • Common Causes of Deficiency: Primarily caused by the use of low-lithium salt mixes or the use of media such as zeolite and activated carbon, which can strip trace elements from the water column.

The ATI® ICP Elements Advantage

  • Laboratory Grade: Produced using only the highest grade raw materials, tested for purity by the ATI® Lab in Germany.

  • Transparency: Value-driven with clear cost-to-compare ingredients listed directly on the packaging.

  • User-Friendly: Features color-coded packaging to assist different skill levels (Beginner, Pro, Expert).

  • Certified Safety: Registered and compliant with the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) and CLP Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 for health and environmental protection.

Dosage & Application

  • Concentration: The bottle contains 225,000 µg of lithium.

  • Standard Dosage: 1 ml per 100 liters (26 gal) increases the lithium content by 15 µg/l.

  • Safe Daily Limits: Increase lithium by a maximum of 15 µg/l (1 ml per 100 liters) per day.
